There was a person like Edgar Cayce who had done centering on curing diseases, which was done as such individually by one of medical line called (archangel) Sariel, who also made various prophecies. But included in those prophecies were human encounters with God at times when those people were ill, suffering, or in distress. You also can be aware as a doctor. In those time, they can hear the voice of God.
As the physical body is concerned, even if you are going to live longer or shorter, I think there is no meaning to live on with a tattered body. When you have done what you have to do, I think it is the salvation and happiness for that spirit to come back to our world soon. But on the ground, a life of several ten years at most is considered all and live lingering on is considered to be something that will bring happiness to the person, and the extension of life is also considered something that will bring happiness to the person. Such wrong thought is deeply rooted, so people are going to work to make only the body live longer, even if it means taking other's organs, taking other's blood. Rather than living alone uselessly and removing suffering uselessly, how can he have an instance in which he can encounter God through the inherent divinity of the children of God on their own? Through such kinds of things, people have been impressed and could have accepted that there is heaven, there is a spiritual world, by that which he cured which ordinary medicine cannot deal with, and by the fact that they have been relieved from enormous suffering.
